Race Commitee just went out to the water to check out stregth and direction of the wind. Deputy Principal Race Officer Anna Deyanova comments a situation:
– Race Committee just went out on the water to check out strength and direction of the wind. Well, it keeps normal direction, but it is too weak. It blows from a river – south-east – but, unfortunately, this direction leads to a shoal, so it is not possible to set a distance, and wind’s strength is not enough. Wind blows with 3,5 kn and SB20 races can be handled with at least 4 kn. But we are waiting, and at 2 p.m. we will go to check it out again, and maybe it will be fine.
