No races for today. Waiting for tomorrow!
Long waiting for the weather hasn’t brought any results: the wind not only hasn’t reached necessary strength, but vice versa subsided to zero. At 4 p.m. on a yacht-club signal mast judges raised two pennants in a sad way for sailors: Code Pennant and Alpha – races are canceled for today. It is only hoped to the good weather forecast for tomorrow.
Vladimir Komel commented results of a day:
– This situation was easily predictable. The weather pleased with sun, but deprived with wind. There was a kind of hope that wind will grow up to dinner time, but then it started subsiding. Tomorrow – according to the weather there will be enough wind – we will try to increase number of races, and handle not three but four. Other days we will try to use all chances, which weather will give, but of course, it won’t harm races quality.
